Welcome to The Modern Mountain Retreat. This luxury modern mountain retreat is the perfect home base for your EXTENDED Big Sky adventure! The home is located is a private neighborhood of Big Sky which overlooks the entire town, Lone Peak, and the four surrounding mountain ranges that encompass Big Sky. Due to the private nature of this neighborhood the home requires a minimum stay of 30-nights.

This 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home is located within the hills of Big Sky. The home sits above town, overlooking the golf course and Big Sky meadow with stunning views of Lone Peak. The Hilltop Retreat boasts custom and modern finishes, brand new high end furnishings, a dreamy chef's kitchen, four fireplaces, a home office/gym (complete with a Peloton bike), walking access to sledding and hiking, outdoor patio furniture, two smart TV’s, a Wi-Fi Traeger grill, a Sony PlayStation 4 and large floor to ceiling sliding doors to create an amazing indoor/outdoor experience. This multi-level space has room for everyone in the family to unwind after a hard day skiing, fishing, hiking, or just stretching out.

In Winter, find yourself nestled into the heart of this cozy ski community. The legendary Big Sky Resort is just a 9-mile drive (10-15 minutes). Big Sky Resort or, "The American Alps," grants you access to some the BIGGEST skiing in North America. For the Nordic skiers, the world-famous Lone Mountain Ranch is just a 2-mile drive from the home. Find yourself exploring an endless wonderland of groomed Nordic trails and snowshoeing. Other nearby by Winter adventures include snowmobile tours, sleigh-ride dinners, sledding, snow-coach tours of Yellowstone National Park and guided ski tours in Yellowstone. 

In Summer, enjoy community events such as the Farmer's Market, Big Sky's free Summer Concert Series, the local rodeo, and bull riding (Summer events are generally spanning from mid-June through early-September). Additionally, walk out the door to find yourself roaming Big Sky’s hiking trails, meticulously maintained by the local community! The neighborhood surrounding the home is naturally hilly with gorgeous natural scape creating wonderful walking, running, and biking paths. Other nearby Summer adventures include world class trout fishing, golfing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, zip-lining, horseback riding, hot air balloon rides, mountain biking and more!

For the Yellowstone National Park adventurer, this home grants quick access to highway 191 south which leads you to the West entrance of Yellowstone. Marvel at the unspoiled scenery during your 45 minute drive along the historic Gallatin River to the entrance of the park. This section of the park provides access to Old Faithful, Gibbon Falls, the largest gathering of Bison, and hiking trails. 

Other things to note: 

• There are renters living in the apartment above the garage. The apartment is a separate entrance from the home, no entrances are shared (including the garage). You will have very limited to zero interaction with the renters.
