Music In The Mountains

Music in the Mountains is Montana’s finest FREE outdoor concert series that is held every Thursday, June through September and offers a mix of genres, including rock, blues, folk, and bluegrass and features both national and local artists. The Center Stage at Town Center Park is the perfect backdrop for you and yours to enjoy some fantastic tapping along with the beat music as it boasts state of the art technology and speakers along with beautiful scenery of Lone Peak, one of Montana’s most iconic mountains.

One of the highlights of Music in the Mountains is the community feel. The festival has a laid-back atmosphere, and attendees are encouraged to bring their blankets and chairs to relax and enjoy the music. No dogs or glass containers are allowed in the park though.

This year’s lineup features some fantastic artists, including Midnight North, The Tiny Band, and TK & The Holy Known-Nothings. Wildlands Festival

If you’re looking for a more adventurous festival experience, look no further than Wildlands Festival. This three-day event takes place August 4 through the 6th at the Big Sky Events Arena in Big Sky and offers music, comedy, and more. Experiences that also benefit the Gallatin River Task Force and American Rivers charities. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the Academy Award-winning film A River Runs Through It, as well as the 50th anniversary of the American Rivers charity.

The music lineup for Wildlands Festival features a mix of genres, including indie rock, folk, and electronic. Headliners for this year’s festival include Lord Huron, Foo Fighters, and James Mcmurtry. Other notable acts include Tom Skerritt & Friends, Orlando Leyba, Taipei Houston, Regina Ferguson, and Forrest Shaw. In addition to the performances, Wildlands Festival will have food vendors on hand, serving up tasty local options along with a merchedise tent and trailer for all Wildlands Festival and related artist.
